Maybe this is old news, but accidentally found this feature last night.
When you do a screen capture it shows a little preview in the lower right corner. If you tap on that preview it brings up the image and a set of picture editing tools like cropping a nd color/brightness changes so that you can edit the pic before saving it. Neat!

That’s an important book

Another useful trick with that is you can delete any screenshots without expanding them, just by swiping t he thumbnail.
I just can never remember which direction to swipe.

Welp, never mind, that doesn’t seem to work. Guess I’m misremembering or the feature changed.

you mean this thing that Android’s been doing since forever?

I had a feeling that this comment would show up...

To add to that, does iOS allow for scrolling screenshots?

It really is, the Sea Scout ship I volunteer with makes it required reading for Ordinary before going on a long cruise.

To be fair, it’s been in iOS for a long time too

I’ve only messed around with it just a little, trying out highlighting and other little tweaks. The did seem to be an option to choose just the screenshot or the entire page - is that what you're referring to?

Sort of...on my Samsung it allows you to move the page down a little by little and capture it.
So say if I want just the post and top 2 comments, I can do that. I can choose to not capture all the 'cars' posts :p

I’m still trying to figure it out. I think it said something about saving it as a PDF as well as an image.

You wouldn’t want the front to fall off.

Swiping just dismisses it, it still goes to your camera roll. What’s nice about that feature, though, is that you can tap the thumbnail and it takes you straight to the edit options, then you save or share the shot, then it asks if you want to delete the screen shot. That’s a particularly nice thing, since I usually have no need to share the capture after sharing it.
And I don’t care if Android has been doing this for years.

LMAO. I wonder how many will get the reference...

One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Those guys were amazing together.

Years after first seeing it you’d think I’d be tired of it but no, I bust out in hysterical, tearing laughter every single time.

Clarke’s deadpan delivery slays me every time.

I keep thinking of this every time a politician says protestors are coming in from outside. There are only so many “outsides” these people live somewhere!

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that. Though taking screenshots is flaky enough on my S10...
